Google Maps or Microsoft Local Live with GPS on Laptop

I have a Sprint Mobile "Compass" card which has a built in GPS receiver for my laptop.
Does anyone know of a browser or free online program that works like Google Maps can show where you are like a Chartplotter but on land(or both land and water)?

You can get google earth which will work with a GPS, I think it's $20 to upgrade google earth to the GPS version. With that, you can get EarthNC online which give you free vector charts that run in google earth. very very usable and you also get all of the google search features in google earth. Don't know anything about microsoft.
