Has anyone else seen reserved docking for the handicapped? On our lake there are public town docks which are free for boaters to use and shop in town. There's no harbor master or anything, it's like a parking lot at the mall. On busy weekends, there can be a long wait for a spot.
Over the winter the town designated one side of one pier as handicapped. Painted the poles blue and put up the wheelchair sign. The marine patrol reportedly just started ticketing ($250) for docking there without a placard. But not a lot of people have handicap placards (vs. license plates)
There's no special handicapped services, just reserved spots.
