Hatch Lifts Causing Binding

I have two Acculift MQ347's that lift my hatch.. As of late the one on the port side extends 1.5" more than the one on the starboard. Actually, since I have never measured their extension distance it may be the starboard side just does not go up as far as it should. My point in this is that when lowering the hatch it binds against the fitting where my canvas pole attaches gouging the fibreglass.
Does anyone know if there is an adjustment on those lifts for the length this shaft extends? I've looked at each end and there are no adjustable pin settings!

Pull the pin on either lift. Then spin the shaft a half turn at a time . So raise the hatch. Put down the safety leg. Lower the hatch so the pressure is on the safety leg and pull the pin on either lift .

Use a tape measure to measure how much piston u have out.
