It was time for a haul out to replace the packings on the rudders. So the list grew and now the list is long since it out of the water, no better time than now so here we go. going for a riderudder shaft needing to be replacedclose upThis is just plain cool stuff! No outdrive here!New spreader light installed on right side vs old The first step of 3 in full detail job.
Also all annual eng mtc is done by me including water pump impellers and repacking shaft seals. Packing were a PITA.
Three teak pieces on swim platform missing from rough water fishing trip replaced and all other refinished to match.
New portlight windows.
New motorized tv lift for salon.
New generator exhaust collector. Old one cracked and started to leak.
Rebuilt gen seawater pump. Thank you Depco in Clearwater FL.
New spreader LED lights.
Two steps on Fly bridge were loose and rewelded mounts.
Props repainted.
Rudders repacked and stbd rudder shaft replaced.
Now looking at the adding a hardtop over bridge to replace canvas top. Tired of getting rained on.
Will have more pics later when finished. Stated tuned.

that thing looks well under it's age. i can't believe how clean it looked coming OUT of the water. just looked like it needed a bath and it looks new again in the last full picture.

The first picture is straight out of the water not power washed. That is 15 months in the water and bottom cleaned once a month.
Only thing cleaned was the props sandblasted for painting.

The travel lift read around 25k pounds with full fuel and 3/4 water. What a beast and I still only burn 17 gal per hour total with gen cruising 20.5 knots. Love my Cummins diesel engines!

cummins are the best. that's why i use one everyday in my personal vehicle and use the big boys at work.

Well everthing went well and was put put back in the water last Monday. It's good to be back in the water! Couple more pics of hull sides after waxing was done.
Found gen exaust colletor was found leaking at welds. I had a new one made and now good to go!

Still have a few things to finish up and looking foward to the ST Pete Grand Prix in 10 days.

Thanks for getting her all cleaned up for our next fishing trip. Maybe next time when we're 27 miles offshore and we see teak floating by us we'll know where they came from. They did a nice job on the detailing. See you next week!

Perry next fishing trip is going to the middle grounds. With it that clean we will fish jumping in the boat just to check it out!

I hope so. That will leave extra time to drink my beer.
