I did not winterize the boat myself so I was a little worried if things were done right. (not at dealer either)

Held my breath, turned the key and .........................

click! (battery was dead) I had the battery in my basement on a charger and a radio connected to it. Aparently, the charger got disconnected and the radio killed the battery.

Now I have to wait till I can get enough charge to start. Now it is the next day and I go out and turn the key and she fires up. runs a little rough at first but after 1 minute or so everything seems fine. No water in the bilge, exhaust looks fine. I didn't notice any color in the exhausted water though. no pink or green.

I will go through my manual for recommissioning but are there any things you would look for

That she comes up to temp 170 or so.

Check your oil for discoloration. (water in oil)

Load test that battery. If your radio killed your battery off and then continued to pull it down to nothing the plates may be ruined. It may not hold a charge any more and may need to be replaced. Been there done that with a radio one year.

Will do that. It is is a dual purpose which are supposed to tolerate this a little better.
