My port ignition switch at the helm is acting up. When the switch is hit, the fuel pump cycles and it clicks, but engine does not turn over. If I hit the switch a few times it will crank motor randomly. So sometimes it cranks, sometimes not. Any thoughts? Thank you!

The same question I just asked another member here. Do you have a volt meter? and tools at all?

Today I hit the switch multiple times and it just clicked every time. when I hit the emergency switch it started. The batteries seem fine, so I'm thinking that slave solenoid or connection somewhere?

Sounds like I would check battery as well. Emergency start just puts the batteries in parallel

Agreed, click only (or even click with pump) with the regular start and no crank, but crank and start with e-start leads me to believe there is a battery issue also.

If not the slave solenoid, dismantle/clean the main ground stud on the engine itself. If there's any corrosion it will exhibit those symptoms.
