Help explain this hull number

I have a 1988 laguna 23 center console and it appears it has two hull numbers or additional numbers beyond a regular number. Does anyone know what it all means or where to find the breakdown?

SER = Sea Ray
C = SER (C) - Cherokee Cove Plant (Now Mastercraft, across from Tellico plant). - Tennessee
2324 - Boat ID
B = February
8 = 1988
88 -1988
(ie build date Feb-1988 as a 1988 model)

I was told the rest was specific to the hull. Thanks to others online over the years for some of this info. Some one may have additional info on that breakdown.

Edit: I looked at mine and I am thinking it just represents the model info for the hull.
