Need help on a new to me 1992 weekender 300, twin 5.7 mer.
I got water/fuel separator outside tank, canister type changed, I got another fuel filter above fuel pump but can’t see the numbers, (any suggestions [I like wix]??)
Then there is a big filter on rear port side of engine with two big hoses going to it.
I do have a wix filter number 51069.
I’m getting new one but don’t know what it’s filtering??? Gas, Tranny fluid, water surly not??
I drained the 12 year old fuel out of tank and added new gasoline/fuel. Changing all filters and need advice on starting procedures, should I bleed, cycle the switch several times? I don’t see any electrical fuel pump?? Any help or good advice on bringing an old engine back to life would be great. Boat was running great when last ran 12 years ago.
