Got the notification a while ago, to begin 3.1.22. It hit, 13.2% increase.

Well, we did get a new logo, and I got this cool coozie.

They are sprucing up a bit nowadays.

Rebuilt the fixed lift for the barn dwellers.

New paving going on.

A few folks have left it seems...

I'm gonna stay, like the laid back atmosphere.

Can grab a slip for my 19 Flats or 23 Bay when I'm down, no charge, no problem.

Manager, Tye, is classic laid back, but very effective.

End of rant.

Our marina fees went up 10% last year and are up 40% since 2019. The owners that did that put a lot of $$$ into the marina and hired good help. But they sold our marina in September. The new owners have not addressed the tenants. And the name they are using is shell corp. and it is difficult (so far impossible) to trace back to the parent. They supposedly own other marinas, but I can't find them.

We sign an annual contract that runs April-March. Ours went up 15%....

One nice thing about owning my well….Its paid for and the price is fixed. Now the association “fees” on the other hand, seem to be going up about 10 bucks a year.

On our lake a 10'x25' slip sells for around $45,000 if you can find one for sale. I need a 12'x30' minimum, which are unicorns.

Ours stayed same and they thru in a year of free towing coverage with a local boat tow company. Gotta love the small family owned marinas.

I moved to a different marina this year …. It is $1,500 cheaper then last years place….. basically a tank of diesel at these prices

Sounds like they working on improving and you like it. Price increases suck, but the enjoyment lasts long after the check has cashed.
