Greetings Everybody!

First time Sea Ray owner here! (Technically first time boat owner with the exception of numerous jetski's). We're from Tomball, TX just NW of Houston. My wife and I have been contemplating purchasing a boat for the last 2 years. About a 2 months ago we found the one that we felt suited us the best, a very gently used 2004 Sea Ray Sundeck 220. It was a one owner boat in nearly mint condition with only 94 hours. The previous owner stored it indoors year round and just took meticulous care of it. We felt truly blessed to have found such a beautiful boat. I should note that while this is our first time to own a boat I spent many years operating boats on Lake Conroe and Lake Somerville that were owned by friends and family.

At the present time we're primarily just using the boat on Lake Conroe but we have summer trips planned to Lake LBJ, Inks Lake and Lake Somerville. Our main reason for purchasing the boat was to spend time together as a family with our 10 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son. They love spending time on the water and here in Texas when the summer hits there's no place better to be.

So that's basically our story in a nutshell. I'm sure I will need some helpful advice and opinions from you fine folks a time or two as I'm planning a few upgrades on the boat such as a set of Lenco trim tabs and a second battery. Looking forward to talking with everyone. If there's anyone else here that boats on Conroe maybe we could meet up sometime as we're out there nearly every weekend. We launch from April Sound.

Thanks Ya'll

Congratulations and welcome to CSR!

All's Well - we're really interested in coming to Travis but I wasn't sure what ramps were still open or where it was safe to boat due to the water levels. Any suggestions on good marina's to put in at? Thanks!

Welcome Aboard enjoy!

Welcome to CSR and congrats on the new purchase. Best of luck with her!

Not too sure as I wet slip all year.

You may want to call around, the lake did come up a foot this past weekend but it's still WAY low

Bring her down to Galveston. We have bands on the sand and fireworks every Friday and Saturday night in the summer.

This past weekend I was told that the highland boat ramp is still available to use. I'm not sure any others are, I know the dam and Lakeway are out of service for sure

Welcome! Nice boat...

Thank you MonacoMike

All's Well - thanks so much for looking it to that. I've always wanted to boat on Travis, just never had the chance. We'll definitely make it up there this summer!
