Anyone know Sea Ray's current hull construction method for Sport Cruisers? Specifically a 270 Amberjack. Is the hull bottom cored or solid FG?

I'm getting a new thru-hull transducer and need to know what to expect. I think the 260 DA is the same hull, so that would probably apply, too.

Thanks,

Brad

That's good news....but I still remember the first time I drilled a hole in the bottom of one of my boats......man was that a scary moment..... :smt101 ...good luck....

I wouldn't have been so scarey if you would have taken it out of the water first.

I had no choice....I was too tall to stand under it in on the hard.....

The obvious method for tall folks like you and I would be to just turn the boat over. You can drill to your heart's content while you are still standing up.
