Yeah I told my wife last night that we'll be walking down hill to get to the boat this year. The floating docks are awesome though, the transition from the dock to the boat is always the same. On my boat the upper swim platform is exactly the same height as the my dock. My dock is 70' and the boat is only 45' LOA so I can still back in and tie up before I get to the ramp part of the dock. That gives me around 15' or so behind the boat for the dinghies.

Ezsteps has a nice set up at MacRay. I have been thinking the water will be down this upcoming season due to lack of snow and lack of ice over the Great Lakes. We'll see this spring.

I’ve seen this photo a few times… and the photographer is always posting pics of Erie from that location…… I doubt he would fake his own photos…. But no first hand knowledge

I was never a big fan of the place…. I stayed there once for a few days on the boat….. 6 months later in the middle of winter I get a call from the old club accountant…. He tells me you owe us $104 for a pizza….. the waitress put it on the wrong tab…. I said I never had a $104 pizza….. he said well you are going to have to pay it…… I said send me the receipt that I signed….. crickets
