Chene Park is right next door. It is a pretty nice marina. Floating docks, clean bathrooms, gated. I've been to nicer marinas but have no complaints with Milliken. We are going to be there for the Earth Wind and Fire concert at Chene Park weekend after next. Looks nice from the one picture.
Sounds like a casino night to me.....Now I have to figure out what to do.
Hey Joe,Hello again Brent, it was nice meeting you this past weekend. Hope you had smooth waters on your way to your Erie destinations. Looking forward to meeting up again, hopefully Metro on Oct. 6th. You have a dang nice boat. I took a shot of you pulling out Sunday morning. View attachment 58622
We went all the way back in and didn't have any problems with them. Are you in the first canal past the store/gas dock? The last time I was in naked bay I might have gone to deep in but my feet were over taken by little leaches when I got out so I'm kinda skeptical about it but keep hearing great reviews this yr? Next time ur put in around MacRay stop by I'm right down from the store
Sounds like a good move for you Blueone. Hope it works out and you enjoy it. I'm not a huge fan of Cedar Point but the wife loves it. Maybe over the winter (I hate saying that word) we can organize a Rendezvous 2019 to Cedar Point. Might give us more time and get more boaters together from Michigan and Ohio. We will still be at Metro a few weekends in October and I'll post the dates here when we decide to go there in case some can make it.Peeps.... We have been spending so much time in PIB we have decided to move the boat to Port Clinton for the rest of the season in a trial Marina and winter store there..... that in turn should save a ton of diesel and 2-1/2 hours of navigating each way ... We will use the rest of the boating season to check out the temp Marina and exploring other options while enjoying a 12 mile commute to the islands ..The cool thing about a boat is picking up and exploring new areas and we are sure looking forward to that.
We didn't get a lot of potential participation for the RENDEVOUS this year... But I am all up for a 2019 RENDEVOUS... If any of you guys find your way south ...reach out!

I'm sure I'll see you there then. We will definitely be going there again, probably this weekend. Look for the big "Bottoms Up" flag. I'll keep an eye out for that 380.Joe that's our go to spot. Even on a very busy day it's still a calm peaceful place.
Anytime... Dock #M-5... It still isn't quite finished. The ramps are just painted wood that I plan on changing to starboard once I know I don't want to change anything. I think there will be an electric winch in the trunk when I am completely done but that's a whole other project...I'll have to swing by sometime and look at your davit set up.
BlueOne. We spent last week down in PIB and Kelley's Island. What a fun area and l love the concept of Island Hopping. We will be back down in that area next year again, adding Cedar Point to the trip. Might even do one night a Middle Bass Island to check out the Winery there.Peeps.... Are you near Midexp? I'm back on amberNext time ur put in around MacRay stop by I'm right down from the store
Sounds like a good move Blue. Now we have a connection when we head downWe joined Crews Nest...right next door to PIB YC/Millers. We can only reserve the weekend starting on the Wednesday but so far we have never been turned down for a slip.
We were at Munchies a few weeks ago and it was packed. Some of our friends had to anchored away from our raft and they were by the canal near the reeds. We were 50yds away. Our friends had leaches everywhere when they jumped in near them. We had none where we were. I just think it's the location in each particular bay. I believe every bay has something, swimmers itch, leaches, piss, trash... Can't avoid it, it's the lake. Like Clark Griswald says, "it's all part of the experience"The last time I was in naked bay I might have gone to deep in but my feet were over taken by little leaches when I got out
