For those with 50/52 DA and QSM11 engines.

Anyone running 28x30 props? About to order new props and really tempted to go 28x31 but I think that’ll be a bit much.

I know for a fact that 28x33 is still way too much prop. Slightly worried 28x30 might be removing too much.

Thanks.

Those are expensive propellers so I hope you can get it dialed in perfectly. Someone out here knows hopefully.

I am at 28x30 on a 52DB with QSM11s and I am on the higher end of the OK range so you should be good because your boat weighs a little less.

I'm so tempted to go for 28x30.5 for just a little more speed but then realize if I want a little more speed just go a few rpms higher.

Wish these boats cruised in the in the 25knt range. Why, I have no idea.

I agree it would be nice to get some more speed but With the QSMs is it better to keep the pitch lower and run at a bit higher rpm’s to gain some speed. At 2000rpms I am running about 22kts with a freshly soda blasted and painted bottom. The upgraded MANs they put in these boats will run around 24-25kts.
