I have a 2008 270 SLX that does not sit level in the water. It's a single engine 496 Mag.
It has a fresh water 20 gal tank that is centered in the hull. There's no waste water tank.
As far as I know the gas tank is also centered in the hull? There's never water in the bilge. It noticeable leans to the port side. Is this normal? I previously had a 210 Select that did the same thing but it leaned to the starboard side. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Port side. I thought of that but didn't think they could make that much difference?

My 260 would lean due to the batteries, fresh water, fridge/beer, microwave, et cetera.

Even out 290 (10’2” beam) leans with any less than 3/4 water. Our genset and 3 group 27 batteries are on the port side, as well as the galley. I keep the water tank pretty full to help out.

Thank you!

Ok. I was hoping I didn't have water trapped somewhere in the hull that couldn't flow back to the bilge.
But maybe that's not possible?

I noticed that as well when the fuel tank was full but water and waste were empty during the winter months. After I refilled the water tank it now floats pretty level.

my 2006 240 sundancer also leans a little to port sitting at the pier. strange but true but it even makes a visible difference if you have the fridge filled full with beer or not . the deep vee narrow hulls are very tippy .

batteries on my boat are also port side but leave them there - i once removed the batteries with boat in water and without them the boat leans severly to stbd .
