Glad to hear someone is enjoying the day in the north east.Hope you don't get the crappy weather we're having in Northern Ohio this weekend.

I'm headed off to mine now.

I splashed for the 1st time last Friday and took her to the fuel dock and back. It was an 11 mile round trip. Boat ran fine, fuel was cheap, the marina bar opens this weekend, and I'm single... Life IS good.

I pulled off the shrink today. Had my checklist done weeks ago. I splash Next Saturday....Can't wait. The best part is, I got a town slip this year after a 9 year wait. I have a Permanent residents now....:smt038

Wife and kids were down at the boat today loading up.....Good feeling being back in the water!

Been at the marina since early this morning. Was able to figure out the electrical issue with the generator. Preparations are under way for Memorial weekend. Grill is hot and the chicken is on. Oh, and the beer is cold.

Went down today to fire her up and take her for a shakedown cruise to see how I did with my first attempt at replacing both impellers, a bad raw water pump and a bad circulator pump. Very glad to say she ran nice and smooth. Only issue discovered was that my 2 year old 40" Samsung tv crapped the bed and that's a discussion for another forum but I'll take it.

Changed the engine oil and outdrive oil today and fired her up for the first time this year. Fired right up. Still in the driveway on the trailer but hopefully if this rain ever stops we can finally get in the water

Between the high winds, the super high tides which covered many of the marshes, and the lack of all of the channel buoys in, we chilled at the marina. Still a great day

Our club had a Cinco de Mayo party last night.....catered Mexican buffet, $3 margaritas, $1 Coronas, live band, good friends and lots of fun.

After the party we went down to the boat and stayed there rather than drive home. Can y'all say "Slept like a baby"?
