Hi All,

I recently purchased a 2002 Sundancer 260. My steering wheel is stock, and pretty tired. I have been trying to find an OEM replacement (part # 1526292), but not had much luck. I found a couple on eBay, but they are already beginning to show the early starts of the same wear and tear my wheel has. I have seen others that are similar, but really want an OEM.. Look forward to any help.

Any experience with restoration work? maybe you can save it.
 
I looked for a while and couldn't come with anything close to decent.

If you pull off that center section, it's held on with 6 allen bolts which fit a common pattern.

So you have access to a ton of aftermarket options if when you change your mind about OEM. :D
 
Non-OEM example - Just needs a Sea Ray center cap. Paul turned a few of us onto these last year.

OllieC: That's a pretty slick steering wheel, where did you purchase it from?
 
If you decide on another one, I wouldn't mind purchasing your tired one. I'm interested in seeing if I can refurb it.
