Looking for On Water Training

Just as the title describes. New to boat ownership and in the process of finishing up the purchase of my boat. I have a friend that is going through and teaching me but would also like to have someone else to show me the ropes. Anyone have any suggestions on where/who to look to for this? Already did boater safety through the Macomb County Sheriff so I am looking for more on operation side.

The boat is on Lake St Clair and will be kept at Macray just to give a reference of where I am looking around for this.
