looking to purchase 300DA 1986 any tips?

Hi all, im a newbie here. i just checked out a 1986 300DA over the weekend and im thinking about picking it up! its in fairly good condition and has been well cared for. i was hoping to get some advice from some other owners on what to look out for on these models, maybe some common problems or sites to find parts. the door in to the cabin seems to be broken on the top cover and i think the plastic windows that attach to the Bimini top are missing . thanks for any replies!!

I owned a new 86 and sold it in 93. The boat developed pretty extensive stringer rot although I did not know it until the new owner discovered it a year or two later. I believe that a SR 300 without rot would be unusual unless it had been repaired or kept on a lift.

thanks for the reply! i had a gel coat guy run out and poke around and surprisingly he gave it a clean bill. he took a moisture meter down with him and everything was dry!!...i will post some pics if everything works out.
