Lost my hero last night

Humph , you have my deepest thoughts and prayers , I lost my Father at 58 years of age , I was 30 years old .... It's was so hard , but I found that when I lost my Dad , I found him more in my heart and certainly in my head . My friend you have not Lost your Dad ..... You have been bathed in his spirit , and his soul will fill your heart with the greatest of memories !!!! You'll see..wait until he comes to you in your dreams as my Father has done to me , it's awesome ...... His broken heart is healed !!!

i wanted to say in a very poor way what he just said. I lost my father at 54years old when i was 26. he never met my daughters or my wife and it breaks my heart that they wont know their grandfather but i hope i will be able to teach them some of what he taught me. like Boltman said. he will come to you in your dreams and you may wake up with tears in your eyes but they wont be from sadness but joy.

i hope you find peace soon as it doesnt get easier, it just hurts less with time.

I found this great shot of him a from a few years ago heading out to toast where we spread my mother's ashes. Heading back the in a few weeks to have him join her. We kept some of hers and had them mixed so they are together now and forever. Thanks again for all of the support you all provided to me.
