Well, after buffing and waxing my own boat for 12 years I somehow managed to burn the gelcoat in a spot. I have no idea how I did this. I guess that’s what it is because I noticed it right after I ran the buffer over that area. It’s inconspicuous and faint enough to not be a bother. But, do you experts know how far into the gelcoat it goes? Can I lightly sand with 600 and take it out? Or would I need to go deep and patchpaste over it? Pay no attention to the buggered up screw hole patch just to it’s left. That’ll be redone.
