Need help with my Vessel View Mobile

Went down to install my Vessel View mobile this weekend and the directions for the multi engine install was to plug it into a plug that gets data from both engines. I looked all over the engine room of my 2003 320 DA and could not find the plug that the instillation directions said I should use. Can anyone offer any guidance on where this would be located?

If you do not have smartcraft gauges at your dash, the common connection for both motors likely does not exist yet. Each engine would have a separate connection. You would need to build a smartcraft network for it to work. If you have smartcraft gauges, then the common plug will be under the helm at a junction box.
Are you sure your engines support it at all? Did you verify by checking serial numbers? 2003 sounds like you are on the cusp.

There is another current thread that describes where the engine plugs are. As Paul noted, you will need some smartcraft harnesses to create a common plug point if your engines are "smartcraft ready" not smartcraft equipped.

You will also need the appropriate plug adapter terminal from mercruiser. About $11. It's not plug and play without the adapter.
