Hello to all of you!
I'm a 49 year old boy from Sweden and have just bought my first Sea Ray. I've had several boats in my life, some with engines and some with some kind of fabrics hanging from a tall aluminium rod standing in the centre of the boat.
Now I shall soon have an old restoration project in the shape of a 270 Sundancer. I've bought it on eBay USA and only seen pictures of it. If I'm lucky it will arrive here in about a month. What I do know is that the single 454 engine is frozen to death and that the secondary stringers that hold the tanks etc is rotted. Maybe the transom is moisturized also, I don't know.
The BW Velvet Drive and the TRS drive is said to be in ok order, but i'm prepared for surprises...:smt101
