Hello Everybody,
Got myself a boat to cruise & fish beautiful San Diego. Offer I couldn't refuse. She runs, but the deck has seen better days. Hull is in great shape nothing major to be fixed. Seems like the ignition won't turn the engine over so I'll be spending Saturday morning looking a wires..any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Welcome aboard! Congratulations on your new toy. You said she runs but does not start by the ignition switch. On the 380 we have ignition key switches and ignition power switches on the main panel, and momentary start/stop switches at the helm. I would start by checking for power at the start switch. If you are good there then check the power on the start solenoid when you move the switch to the start position. Good chance there is a bad connection, so I would rig a 12V light bulb to load the circuits I tested rather than just checking voltages.

Thanks a lot for the advice seems like all things with the engine are fine despite it's age. Seems like electrical gremlins will be an issue.

Welcome and enjoy!
