I spent the night at another marina Saturday night and I saw a group of Sea Ray's owners travelling together...very nice. I don't know the exact year of these Sea Rays but it is a good guest.

A 2005-6 SR 420 DA, a 2005-6 SR 44 Sedan Bridge, a 2000 SR 40 Sedan Bridge, a 2000 SR 54 DA (wow...) and finally.... a 1996-7 SR DA 450 (it is a big boat).

All these boats were diesel powered and very clean. This was quite impressive to see all of them coming together in the marina. I spent 30 minutes helping them getting in their space...and looking at these nice boats. :smt001

PS:....I would like to get a 450 DA one day.....we'll see...

You have a good point. What I normally do is to offer the crew to take the line first...if they accept, I tack it temporarily to help the captain get his boat to the dock until one of the crew member get on the dock. I then leave the line to the crew member and grab the rail to help stabilize the boat. I also tend to look at the captain to try to predict his moves.

Wow you dont know what a rope is? It's that thing that you tie your bumpers to. You can also use them to tie up the front and back of the ship . I keep mine under the kitchen cabinets next to the bathroom. :smt043 :smt043 :smt043 O.K Jim you got me.. :smt021
