I hope someone on this thread can help. I just purchased my first SR 290 Sundancer this past spring. I am replacing the shower sump pump because the fitting on the side of the plastic tank is broken and it leaks. The new Attwood sump pump box I purchased is slightly different in size that the Attwood box I am replacing. As you'll notice from the picture, there are two screws screwed directly into the floor. Can I drill additional holes into this floor without damage (assuming I caulk and seal the old and new holes)? Obviously, I don't want to break through the bottom hull. Two of the pics are just directing the readers to where the sump is located on my boat.
