Performance of 1980 vintage 240 WE

What might be expected performance of this boat 5100lb dry w a 260/hp pre Alpha (MC-1)
drive?

Cruise rpm -speed?
Wot rpm - speed?
Time to plane characteristics?

Assume 3 adults 1/2 tank gas.

1987 230WE. 260hp 5.0MPI EFI (replaced original 230hp 5.0 carb). Alpha gen 1.

Time to plane with original 3 blade with indicated load was 9-10sec at full tab. Held plane at 22mph and 3100rpm.

4 blade aluminum Solas prop time to plane 4-6sec at 1/3 tab. Holds plane at 18mph and 3k rpm.
Slow cruise 31-3200rpm @23mph 8.0gph
Med cruise 33-3400rpm @25-27mph 10.0gph
Fast cruise 3600rpm @30mph 12.5gph

Lost 2-3mph top end going to 4 blade. Cruise about same speed (actually faster at slow cruise with 4 blade). Efficiency improved 1-3gph accordingly.

I’ve tried various props and tab combos to find what worked. Many prop shops told me my cupped 3 blade was best prop for the boat. Best money spent on this boat was 4 blade prop and drop tabs on original size tab. Larger/wider tabs greatly hurt handling.
