the engine appears to be 68-71... cant see the faceplate in the pics
red stripe started in 68 and ended in 71. if it says Mercury only on the face emblem its 1971 motor
if its kiekhaefer mercury 68-70.
the Sea Ray logo and number system is second generation starting in 66. different years from there up had slight differences in the dimensions and logo ending in 74 or so.
narrowing it down slowly...
