Greetings All,

Would anyone know the part number for a vacuum switch for a late 80's vintage vacu-suck system?
Been fighting the 'cycles every 'X' minutes' issue off and on for a couple years now.

Everything else including duck bills, bellows kit, and bowl seals has been done.

How old are your hoses?

Ancient - and they are suspect.
I normally let our club mechanic deal with the truly messy stuff but he is backed up right now and the switch is something that I can get to easily.

If I do the switch and it doesn't cure it, the hoses are next and I'll let him handle it

I bet the hoses are you issue, switches are very rare to go bad- from my experiences. Ask you mechanic if he has a vacuflush vacuum gauge, disconnect the hose from the vacuflush pump, insert the gauge and turn it on. If it hold vacuum then you know it is the hoses...simple before you go and spend a hundred bucks on a sensor you probably don't need. If he doesn't have a gauge then install a small hose with a plug to block it off so it can test the pump assembly for holding pressure.
