Posting pictures

Like GFC (@Gofirstclass), I sometimes can not see @JayhawkCurtis pictures... I only see a small block with IMG beside it. But then other times I can see them.

It's something to do with the way your posting them... as if they are hosted elsewhere.

Here is an example of a @JayhawkCurtis image address that I can't see:

Most of us have CSR host our pictures... and I and GFC can always see those.

I have no problem seeing all of them. But, I never surf on the computer. Always use my Android Samsung phone with Chrome. Which is how I'm using posting this reply.

I can always see photos on the computer. My android phone, not so much.

I think it depends where the image comes from. If it is a link to something like Photobucket or Flikr it may not be able to be shared depending upon how the account is set up. Same thing with Facebook. On the other hand, if you upload pictures as a JPG or other acceptable formats then it can always be seen either small or large. The key is Link and Upload in the page buttons.

Sometimes I have a problem, very frustrating problem, with Microsoft Edge/Bing not showing most of the pictures and videos when selecting "Images" and "Videos". Now on Facebook the pictures are not showing when I bring up the Facebook page in Edge. If I go to Google Chrome, no issues....
Or - maybe you are getting to that age that scantily clad women simply can no longer be seen.....

I've not noticed any difficulties looking at things on my Mac or iPad. There was a bug that Apple recently fixed that made it difficult to save images from FB that I did experience. Maybe an Apple issue or a hosting site limitation?

I don't see any of them, just the thumbnail. I am using Chrome on a laptop.

I see everything on an iPhone, iPad and laptop using chrome

On my non Apple phone now and I do see the pics.

I just save all images I want to One Drive in Windows, then copy and paste in here. No problems or complaints.

I figured it out for my case... We have 2 gateways at work that I use. One of them has a special router that blocks some social media sites (including Twitter).
@JayhawkCurtis pictures are hosted on Twitter's image server. So if I'm on the blocked gateway without a VPN running, I can't see his pictures.
If I use the other gateway or use a VPN, all is good.

Maybe this will help others.
