I rewired the radio directly to the battery on the ign switch. Previously it was on "aux." I also have an amp that senses that the radio is on and comes on in turn. The problem was that every time we would take a break and switch from "on" to "aux," the radio/amp would have to be turned on again and reboot. I turn off the battery switch at the end of the day anyway.

The resale 195 I had for a while required the switch to be "on" before the radio would work. That was a bad arrangement as the former owner had kids and a floating island. She would haul them out to the middle of the Lake and turn up the radio. Of course the hour meter was turning and I ended up reselling a like new boat with 500 hours on the dash.
