I’ve started getting a random vibration that feels like something is out of balance as I throttle up. It doesn’t always do this. It also doesn’t feel like the engine is misfiring, although I haven’t ruled that out.

Any thoughts on things I should check?

growth build up on the props, I get it sometimes, call the driver to clean props, after that everything is fine

I second checking for something fouling the props. Could have a line, a hat, or something down there.

Shaft zincs loosened up. Quite popular for them to do this. I just had mine changed out because of that.

From my experience with the the 8.1s they tend to need the spark plugs to be replaced quite often but the computer does a good job of keeping the engine running well even though something is wrong. If you haven't changed the plugs on the engines, cleaned the flame arrestors, new fuel filters and other tune up items recently then those would be a good place to start provided you don't have any obvious growth on the running gear.

Zincs would make a lot of sense
