BTW, I did try CRC and cleaning the existing pin connection, no better.

Hi,Just saw this post. I went with the Edson Marine dual LED mast light. It was a direct replacement for the existing fixture. I reused the mast (custom bent tubing that is not available), and also replaced the mount as it was starting to corrode. So with a new LED light and a new mount it is better than new.

The light is pricey and appears to be a repackaged Attwood 7800 series light, but was the best option i saw out there.
Been there done that, check out my videos, perhaps they will help you. If you insist on keeping that piece of crap perko you can do what I did, and screw the two pieces together.Hi,
Im looking for a fix for the flimsy plastic connector between the masthead light and masthead base on my 2000 380DA. Ive noted the two parts you provided links for. Im wondering though, how does the mast physically connect to the base? If we have the same factory setup, my mast connects to the base at a horizontal angle and the Perko part you provided connects vertically and doesn’t appear to have the same connection type. Can you help connect these dots for me?
Ive attached a picture…though you can only see the orientation/placement…as the base is covered by duct tape.
Thanks!!
Paul
