Background: 2004 420. Has KVH Satellite TV on hardtop.
If you zoom in, you can see that the running/anchor light comes out of the base of the satellite receiver dome. If you zoom in on the other picture, you see the dome is a DV3, TracVision4.
My assumption is that the receiver is antiquated and obsolete. If that is true, why haul it around everywhere I go? I would like to remove it, and replace it with a "mast" that has the forward facing white running light, and an all-around 360 Deg anchor light. I would like for it to be powder-coated white. And as long as I'm designing, I'd like to perhaps put a hinge in the mast to be able to fold down if necessary. And it would be cool if it had a cross member, so that I could string a burgee up each side if I wanted to!
I have searched and cannot seem to find anything that comes close to this design. Does anyone know of a company that may have something like this? Also, I like the look of these lights: https://www.westmarine.com/buy/aqua...ount-masthead-anchor-navigation-light--258991 I need it to be 12 volt, but I would like it to be LED. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I've sketched up something on how I see it in my head.
So what can you come up with? Send some money!
