I've had my boat three years, first two no issues with batteries, no issues with running shore power and having it run everything for days on end. (2011 Sundancer DA 260)
Last summer, I went on a trip and after day three hooked up to shore power I realized none of my DC equipment was getting power and I had drained the batteries. (Mind you shore power was powering the AC just fine.) I jumped them and ran the boat, the boat successfully recharged the batteries but at that point I also realized I had a reverse polarity light on my inverter. I've been told something is wired wrong - nothing has been changed from the first two year - is it possible the converter just went bad? I don't know if it matters but I had a new engine and outdrive put in, 2018 but it ran fine 2018 & 2019. Also , note, I've tried several times hooked up and encountered the same issue so it wasn't an issue on the shore. Thanks in advance!
