Hi All,
After searching the threads here, I'm posting to see if there may be further info available from the members.
2003 260 Sundancer.
I'm getting a "reversed polarity" red light on my interior panel when I plug into shore power.
I'm headed out to get a polarity meter to check the power from the tower on the dock and will see what that yields.
Photos of the panel when the shore power is plugged in are attached.
The power and reversed polarity light are both illuminated.

Refrigerator has stopped working, any other avenues I should be pursuing?
Thanks in advance.

You got something serious wrong if that AC Volt meter is correct…it’s pegged above 150V. Unplug that now before something gets damaged.

Where what and how are you connected??!!

Almost looks like the boat is across the two hot legs of the dock 240 volt supply. That would illuminate the reverse polarity light and peg the volt meter.
I'd get it off dock power right away.

I was wondering how his fridge and any thing that is pluged into the outlets are feeling right about now.

Shore power is disconnected. Thanks.
I'll notify the marina to have the tower checked tomorrow.
As an aside, I have a Pro Sport Pro Mariner 20 battery charger which is not lighting up. Wondering if it's related.

You may need to reset a GFCI receptacle.
Thanks. I checked the GFCI outlet that is mounted on the cabinet where the sink, fridge and microwave are located and it has power.

If you put 240vac into your 120vac shower power it would kill your charger ac pump and just about everything, that would explain the bright ac lamp the reverse polarity and pegged ac volts gage. Unplug immediately. They make it pretty hard to do this, post a pic of your power post and cable.

Photo of tower.
2 Photos of cable. Note, the led is not lighting up which is supposed to indicate power in the line.
Photo of breaker switch?located in the rear storage hatch above the shore power connector.

Sounds like the marina might owe you some new appliances.
If you see reverse polarity when, or before you turn on the main breaker, you shouldn't turn any other breakers on. Especially when your marking 150+ Volts AC.

Thats a standard 30A 110v plug. If its wired wrong and it has 2 hots L1 L2 and a ground (240Volts) its defiantly is marina's fault. You should always check voltage and polarity before you turn on your main especially on a new slip.
