The riser temperature on the 7.4 (SeaRay Mecruiser) is 80F when running regardless of RPM the temperature on the 5.7 Jetboat (Marinepower) is 140F when at idle and 130F at 4,000 RPM. All lines are clear. Jetboat gets it water supply from the jet drive so there is no raw water pump. Both engines are antifreeze cooled. Question: What is temperature on SeaRay 5.7 and should I be concerned about the riser temperature on the jetboat. The 7.4 engine temperature on both engines is 160F the Jetboat is 180F. Both measured at thermostat with heat gun.
