Screwed up my launch plans -damn

Well was hoping to start prep next week and had a lot of to dos on the list. I’m sitting in emergency right now waiting for an X-ray on a wrist I know is broken. Hockey injury. I am still playing at 59 and love it. But this sucks. 12 years ago I broke the other one. Same way.

I guess DIY will be VISA this year.

Well, that sucks. Played alot of pick up hockey growing up. Lots of games at Windsor Arena at 1am. No hockey in high school back then. Played intramural at MSU. Never was cut. Never lost a tooth. All while blocking a lot of shots playing defense. Heal up fast.

Grew up playing, all the way to college scholarship, then on to adult hockey. Today at almost 70, every joint in my body hurts. To this day I remember my mom saying " you are going to be sorry one day "
I hate it when they are right . Heal fast, time to hire someone.

yeah we got a set-back yesterday too. Called the storage place to schedule to pick up our boat next Thursday. They require 3 day advance notice but i have jury duty starting monday so might not be able to call. They are open late on Thursdays so we usually go pick it up around 5:00-6:00 so jury duty wouldn't be an issue. Well called yesterday and the only time slots they have next Thursday is 9:00AM and 3:30PM and after that I would have to wait until the 28th to pick it up. So if I do get picked for jury duty then i won't be able to pick up next Thursday and will have to cancel and wait till the end of the month. And they give 1 free re-schedule...after that they charge $30 to re-schedule.

Damn dude, Hockey at 59? I gave up town team Basketball at 45 because injuries take to long to heal in old age.

Been playing for 55 years. Love the game and the social part. I just have to play less aggressive I guess.
