Shower Sump mystery

I have always been under the impression the reason the sump has an upper & lower section, is to allow soap suds from showering a chance to "dissipate" before being pumped overboard. No one wants to see a milky, bubbly trail originating from their boat.
What kind of bubble baths are you having in there? :)

I replaced my switch with a Water Witch switch and it has been great... It's mounted on the sidewall in the lower section underneath the access panel.View attachment 75122
Old thread but I’m searching for the manufacturer of this sump box. I have a cracked top and need to replace it. i can always make one if they are not available but I’d prefer to just order it. Thanks
