Looking to install a couple of speakers in the bow area of my boat. I am thinking I am going to put them in by the hand holds. My question is how deep is it between the inside of the boat and the hull? Is there anything else I should consider?
Right below the handles should be OK. Depending on the tool you use, the blade could go deeper than you want. Double check your wire access to make certain you can thread the wires where you want. As an alternative you could consider mounting them lower, as high as you could above the deck. Depending on how much you use the storage in the front...consider getting some sort of protection for the back (ie: sound deadening material that is water resistant.
