streaming movies on smart tv

Sorry what’s all the “bots” about?

bots are AI scripts of sorts that make erroneous post's on forums. Sometimes they partake in the conversation to some degree and try to post things and or reference other websites as advertising.

But all bots scavenge and report as much info as they can about the people posting on the site. They can navigate user profiles and log info for hackers, advertising and other purposes. Bots started off originally as just scavengers that "lurked" about sites recording info. They have graduated to programs that because of AI generators, can take part in conversations. Take a look at post #72, thats a bot posting.

Thanks, thought that was off color when I first read it…

What a world we live in…

Good Afternoon, I would like to set up the boat to be able to watch Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. I have a smart TV. Now my understanding is I will need a WI-FI Hot spot also. My mobile phone service provider is Verizon. I am unclear how to get a mobile hot spot for the boat and will I have to pay for it and are there monthly charges. Would like to hear what others have done to get streaming TV on board and a break-down of what equipment will be required and costs. Thank you. Mike
Whe have the verizon home cube on our boat in sandiego. We live in chicago. the cube is marketed as a whole house internet . It works awesome for us. It is kinda like a hot spot, but it is unlimited . It was hard to get as it needs to be in a 5g area. So they asked us for our phone number , and that didnt work as we are in a rural area. Although i told them that it just works off a cell number anyway, but that still didnt make any difference, lol. So finally the manager started putting in phone numbers of his own family members till we found one that worked. So i got the cube in Chicago area and brought it out to our boat in San Diego. Works perfectly fine. We have better internet that what our marina provides. We can stream on 2 tvs with no problem. Of course sometimes the cell signal fades and we have a little buffering, but not often

Your comments regarding bots are very insightful, and will go a long way towards a greater public understanding of cross-pollination at a molecular level.

Yes, We can run the TV, and two laptops streaming at the same time no problem. Marina wifi you'd be lucky to do a google search.
