Sundancer 380 Knocker Sensor Location

I have a Sundancer 380 with Mercruiser Horizon 8.1S engines and have a knocker sensor alarm on the port engine. It doesn't seem to be an issue with the engine but appears that the sensor went out. Does anyone know the location of the sensor?

Don't quote me on this but I think on your 8.1 it's in a T that's in one of the block drain plugs (and the T will have a drain port) -- I think on the lower right side (as you face the belts)

If you know the serial # you can narrow it down exactly and find the parts diagram here. It should show you where the sensor and related harness is located:
