Tries to send you a PM but your inbox is full. I have a 2006 Sea Ray 58 Sedan Bridge. I have two questions regarding the trim tabs; the starboard tab has a slight upward bow in it at the trailing edge (approx. 1/4" deflection), not sure how it happened. Would that affect performance of the tab? Second, it feels like the port bow constantly needs adjustment upward. A few minutes after I adjust it up (or lowering the starboard side) using the tabs, it needs to be adjusted again? Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

If I may offer a suggestion, you may want to check the cylinder and or the valves in the control unit. The tab maybe
Loosing fluid or simply returning to the resting position due to the fluid returning to the reservoir or leaking out somewhere. Since you did not say that you are loosing fluid from the reservoir and did not say that you have any obvious signs of a leak inside the boat, you could have a bad valve at the reservoir.

to check it, you could put the tab down, check it's position (see how much of the cylinder extended), then run the boat at speed and then check the extension of the cylinder to see if it retracted. The pressure on the tab caused by the movement of the boat through the water could be forcing the tab back up.
