My tri data screen just started to loose some pixels in the display, anyone have any luck sending the unit back to Raymarine to have it repaired? Or do I need to buy a new head? I guess I could replace it with there new color unit, but I am not sure that is warranted.

You are mostly SOL. I had a similar problem and Raymarine giggled when I called. My Raydata went TU up two years ago and I scoured Ebay and craigslist for a couple months and bought a used unit from someone who just dropped a lot of bucks on a Garmin equipment.

I don't want to get you too excited, but there's a good chance I will have one available in the spring if you can wait that long.

My boat has a full set of Ray electronics from the late 90s that is coming off. Plotter, radar, tridata...

If your radar is an RL9, I would be interested in taking the dispay off your hands ;)

I will buy the Tri data from you!
