Trip to OBX

For those that live in the Hampton Roads area, have you made the trip from here to the OBX, how was it? I have a 25' Sundancer and was wondering if its a decent size to make the trip down.

It will all depend on weather conditions. Those sounds can get stirred up pretty quickly. That said in decent weather you should have no issues. I am assuming you will be running inside.

The worst water I have ever experienced was in the Albemarle Sound on a day that in hindsight I should have stayed at the dock. Decent weather - a wonderful boating experience. Wind starts blowing hard, gets very rough.
