I have been watching and you are correct about the quantity of attempts to prosecute Trump. Unprecedented.

This time they went after his companies and got convictions. You have to remember the prosecutors can bring charges all day and night but the ultimate decision of whether the charges are accurate and are substantiated fall on the shoulders of a judge.

No proof? No convictions.

Mike, I know lots of litigators. Hanging around these guys I have learned that "proof" is a relative and often intangible thing. You have remarkable faith that judges will not manipulate their definition of truth to fit their personal views. I have seen that faith shattered numerous times.

I would suggest the use of the vaccine or threat of losing your job if you do not take it pales in comparison to losing all of the freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution.

You should read it some time. It's interesting.

C'mon man, I spent 15 years in law enforcement and got to know the court system well. The district court and superior court judges I knew and saw practice the law were above board and would not stoop to do that.

I can't say that all judges hold that high standard, but I can live with a judge to paints a decision with a shade of prejudice. I'd rather have that than have to give up the freedoms guaranteed in the Amendments.

Trumps a smart guy. But by him saying that, many instantly responded you cannot do that...

Never thought I'd hear a dem in favor of the constitution...
 
For the record so you all know where I stand, I have been a Republican for decades. I voted for Trump in his first go around, and I think he accomplished a lot in his first term.

Do I like Brandon? HELL NO. He may be the worst Pres we've seen since Jimmy the Peanut.

Am I one who likes the Constitution? Absolutely. I think it's one of the most important documents ever written. When combined with the Bill of Rights it spells out the many freedoms we enjoy in our daily lives.

Who am I going to vote for in the next election? It sure as hell won't be Brandon and unless he's the only one running it won't be Trump.

I like The Constitution too. Both parties have pretty much trashed it at this point. At least Trump is willing to say it out loud, not that he can do it.

I'm afraid I would have to abstain. I couldn't, in all good conscience, cast a vote for either person.
 
Trump is done, he'll never win. If he did, in order correct the damage the Dems have done he'd have to play pretty rough, maybe ruthless...and before he'd finish I think they'd put some lead in him. I think he should retire, spend some money and enjoy his last years.

I agree with you that Trump is done. I don't see him beating any Dem, all he's doing is dividing the party. He doesn't even see how much he has hurt the party in the last 5 years. If Trump doesn't get the nod from the GOP does he run as an independent and really screw things up? His comments about releasing dirt on DeSantis tells me he's not concerned with the party he's in it for himself, which most of us knew already.

he has burned so many RNC bridges. Remember how all said he ain’t a politician. They right, He thinks he is god, never learned how to play the politics game. Now everyone in the RNC wants him to STFU and go away. He is grasping at racists, anti Jews, Boebart, Greene and the rest of the embarrassment to the RNC in hopes to get elected. RNC won’t support him. They know the future is with a young charismatic guy like DeSantis, and just want this demented guy gone. He’s the crazy uncle on Christmas vacation.

So everyone that cheers, it’s not going to happen. That’s why DOJ is dragging their feet for years. Ya they got enough to indicate him for treasonous act. Will they, not a chance in hell. They just want him to fade away, which won’t happen because eventually every stupid thing he says (abolish the constitution) piles up till everyone tells him just FU.

Trump isn’t dividing the party. The Republicrats are dividing themselves because they are a bunch of asshats. Reagan gave them the winning formula. They chit on it with the Bush clan, McCain, Romney, et. al. Trump revised it and won. But not one Republican can articulate good positive pro America, pro working class, pro normal, policies. The first one who comes out as “Trump without the baggage” cleans up.
