who gives a puck!

Puck you!

I know, it is inane, and probably no one gives a sh!t, but there are maybe a couple of x or current men's leaguers here who would get a kick.

Im hoping to get back on a mens league this fall with some friends. Not sure though, haven't been on skates since i damaged cartilage in my knee. Ha, ironically partying with old high school hockey buddies. :smt009

Heal up and skate! Just take it easy at first. Do lots of stretching and some squats. Good luck! Best sport in the world (next to wakeboarding which has replaced ice hockey for me as the favorite)

What are you doing on the ICE in the summer. I heard it was cold up north, but I thought all the ice had melted by now. Get out and boat some while you can. (Grin)

 Every Thursday, for 6+ years, and wont ever stop.

Oh dont worry, been on the boat a lot so far. Wakeboarding "replaces" hockey during the summer as my fav, but still, I hit the ice every Thursday.

Cool, I've never really be a big fan. I've had to learn more about it in the last couple of years. My future Son-In-Law is a big hockey player. Took state back in high school here in GA. Heck he made us watch the game the other night on TV. Something about it being the championship game (grin)

What can I say it was kind of hard to go out on the ice in the winter growing up in Miami FL.

Cool! I wish I had vids from my HS days. I was on St Anthony's NY state champs team. No vid, not even pictures :-( I do have lost of vids from later on when I was on a charity team that played the NY Rangers and Islanders alumni teams and other games.

I love ICE hockey. Just no other sport can compare in my opinion. The only sport that is played on an "alien" surface where only 2" of your "body" is on that surface at any given time, while guys try and knock you off that 2" contact area, all while trying to get a frozen hard rubber object into a net.

Yea, Miami didnt have a big output of hockey players in the past! But, you did have beaches that made girl watching an even better sport than ice hockey
