I have read my manual but it does not say whether to leave the system for winter layup under vacuum, or to release it. I have always just left it under vacuum but was curious if there is a specified method?

I would have to think most systems will bleed the vacuum off over winter regardless.

I do not store mine under vacuum.

I release the vacuum whenever I close-up the boat. The duckbills in my aft head system were installed by Sea Ray in 1996. (I'm not kidding - if I weren't a stupidly good friend and helped someone else change theirs, I wouldn't even know where the valves are located!)

I turn the system off / water on, put some NoFlex Digester in the bowl and flush it. The idea is I want some NoFlex sitting in the lines over the winter.
