Water pressure pump replacement.

Good morning all. I am planning on replacing my existing PAR-Mate water pressure pump due to excessive noise when running and at idle and very low pressure. I could rebuilt but decided to just upgrade to a new unit and replace all fittings. My current model has a 2.5 GPM rating. I have no external pressure tank, just water holding tank and a pump.
My question is, what has everyone replaced their units with? There are a lot of choices and I definitely want to increase pressure, not looking for a washdown pump, but an improvement is needed. I know some pumps are built for systems with external pressure tanks and some aren't. West Marine and other online sites are a bit vague. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Pressure seems to be fine. The pump does make some noise when running, it's not too loud unless it's quiet because it's under the aft cabin mattress. There are quieter pumps, but they are much more expensive.

I bought my boat last Fall and noticed the water pressure is on the low side. I like to replace certain things when I buy a new (used) boat, and the water pump seems to be one of the things that usually needs replacing. I used this pump on my last boat, and bought another for my new boat, and will install very soon.
