5.7 mercruiser velvet drives
I own a 1986 searay weekender 300 with 5.7 mercruiser engines and installing tides marine dripless seals. Where is the best place to hook the dripless to the engine. Oil cooler is not accessible. Only hoses on top of the engine are available. I have talked to Tides tech about it and the only answer they can give me is to hook to the outlet on the cooler. The cooler or low on the engine is not accessible. I have a straight shaft velvet drive and the front of engines down low is not accessible. Could anyone please help.

I had a boatyard install them on my '89 300 WE w/454's, so I know it can be done. I just don't know how...
